Vintage Quist Candlesticks

A set of three original cast and plated Variomaster candleholders, designed by Caesar Stoffi & Fritz Nagel and manufactured by Quist/BMF in West Germany during the 1960s. These modular “Variomaster 3-Flame” holders are iconic examples of Mid-Century Modern (MCM) design, notable for their sculptural, brutalist aesthetic and clever interlocking functionality.

Each piece can be stacked or arranged in multiple configurations, creating striking geometric displays. They are finished in nickel or chrome plate and marked “Quist” on the base.
