Herend “Elephant on Ball” Porcelain Figurine – Vieux Herend Blue Fishnet

A charming Herend porcelain “Elephant on Ball” figurine, beautifully hand-made and hand-painted in Hungary and decorated in the classic Vieux Herend (VHB) blue fishnet pattern. This instantly recognisable fishnet or fish-scale design is one of Herend’s most iconic motifs and has been a defining element of the manufactory’s decorative tradition since the 19th century.

The playful subject of an elephant balancing on a ball is rendered with elegance and character, combining whimsy with the refined craftsmanship for which Herend is renowned. The blue fishnet decoration sits crisply against the white porcelain ground, highlighting the sculptural form and fine detail.
